Default Shakena Richardson and Syessence Davis

http://www.sportspagemagazine.com/co...on.shtml?40645

ESPN HoopGurlz, a site that ranks all of the high school prospects in the nation both by position and overall, lists Richardson as the 3rd best guard in the 2011 class and the 7th best player overall. Davis is ranked the 11th best guard and 31st best player.

The two are essentially a package deal, and given their talents this has not proven an issue for the literally dozens of schools that have expressed an interest in recruiting them. As of Friday, their list had been narrowed down to approximately half of the Big East conference -- Rutgers, West Virginia, Marquette, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, St. John’s, Louisville -- plus Maryland.

Default Richardson and Davis to Rutgers

By Gregg Lerner/For The Star-Ledger

Shakena Richardson and Syessence Davis have been inseparable on the basketball court for as long as the Neptune juniors can remember.

In the process, a bond that began as teammates evolved into a sisterhood. Unforgettable moments have been shared and the duo anticipate more to come after the dynamic guards formally announced today their verbal commitments to continue their playing careers together at Rutgers.

"We’ve know each other for so long that this is not even a friendship," Richardson said at a press conference at Neptune High School. "This is more like a family thing, and you don’t want to destroy something like this. We’ve been playing together so long, she’s like my sister. It just feels right."

Richardson and Davis are terrific Basketball players.Instead of wearing scarlet there is a college in Queens thats up and coming with great recruiting and they wear red and white. We have a great coach on a par with Stringer. Why not consider Saint Johns as your final destination?
