Montecristo #2 This, my fine feathered friends, is the cigar of cigars. It is what every cigar wishes it could be and what every cigar maker wishes it could wrap. The MC2 is made both domestically (i.e. non-Cuban) and in Cuba. I can comment on the Cuban version Rested properly, let the box sit in your humidor for a few months before lighting the first one up, this slow burning, rich medium-full flavored wonder is woody and spicy with a perfect aroma and draw. It makes you feel like you are one with the earth, a part of Mother Nature. If you have not tried one, you cannot imagine perfection in any other cigar. Works well with any single malt or a premium dark and spicy rum. Some say a good Port works too, not me. This special cigar has Paulaner's private rating 97 of 100 (domestic is an 88, good but not spectacular). There is really nothing better, but you can't give a perfect score. Magnifico!!!
