Read the book years ago and the book was real good

Only one episode in seems pretty good so far.

Second episode very promising.

I'm on that next once we finish the crown this week

On the Epix channel the new War of the Worlds series is pretty good. Berlin Station is decent and Pennyworth is the best thing on that channel. If you are really bored "Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death" has Shannon Tweed (Gene Simmons of KISS), Adrienne Barbeau and Bill Maher in one of the all time hokiest performances.

Didn't think the C virus would cause this much debauchery this quickly or is this your standard fare?

I balanced that out with "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" with my youngest son. It was funny. Wild stuff around here.

Hey you can do worse than Shannon Tweed and Adrienne Barbeau. ;) :)

Especially if it's 30 years ago. But according to Mr. Skin there is no nudity. ;)

Wow Mr. Skin reference. +1 haven't seen that in years.

In reference to the title of this thread Homeland is having a really nice final season focusing on Carrie and saul and I'll be sorry to see it go. Also liking Plot Against America.

Is that based on the Philip Roth book? Great book. I'll search for the Series.

not sure if this will make sense but for me it’s the type of show you gotta watch a coupe episodes at a time. Not in the suspense edge of the seat way just in watching things develop way

For fans of Dune, there is a new remake coming out, so far still on track, for December. I'm a big fan of the original David Lynch version, warts and all, even though Lynch was embarrassed by it. (the author, Frank Herbert liked it) It is one of the few films that I rewatch. And if I'm in the mood and if for some insane reason I want to make my wife mad, I put it on. She violently hates it...

This new one looks like a legitimate version with good actors like Javier Bardem:
