Very true.
I remember fans ripping him apart after the Tulane loss (his last game) on Mike and the Mad Dog.

So much so that a good percentage of our fans weren't upset when he retired -- on the contrary.


So how has that worked out? 6 failed coaches later...............with fans, the grass is always greener.

If we had hired 1 decent coach it would've worked out just fine.

If we had hired 1 decent coach it would've worked out just fine.


And if I hit the lottery I wouldn’t be working. Neither of those things happened though. Realities, not ifs! A pretty good coach said, “you are what your record is”, good coach, smart man.
