No depth-Mark Jackson, Ron Rowan, Shelton Jones and Ron Stewart sounds like pretty good depth to me. Ron Steward ONLY shoots 45% from the field? LOL

He was money at the foul line. In fact the whole team was great at the foul line.
That was the best foul shooting team I have ever seen at SJU.

Good stuff Paultzman...did you find this as part of some ‘let’s clean out the basement while we’re stuck in the house’ effort?

John Fanta;

“We’ll see just how good Posh Alexander is, but the progress of Rasheem Dunn was encouraging for St. John’s. If Figueroa is back, Red Storm could be a top 6 team in the Big East. Intriguing storyline. As @NYPost_Brazille has reported, LJ’s status is 50-50. Fluid situation. #SJUBB“

Better add a big!

Add a big. Had coronavirus not come around, I’d say LJ woulda been 98% gone, but things are different in this climate and will be for the next year. World climate and pro-ball money overseas is all uncertain. LJ back with the crew we have added and returning and we could be a Difficult team to contend with.

Two out of three from Long Island
Shelton, of course, was a star at Amityville
Chuck played at Brentwood Ross HS
I knew him well - a great kid and a very good student
I coached his 2 younger brothers - both of whom also played D-1 basketball
The shortest of the three brothers ended up being 6'10"
Their mom used to complain about feeding and clothing them
I told her that she wouldn't have to pay a dime for any of their college educations
The younger brothers played at Lafayette and Rutgers
