Tshiebwe is a Top 50 recruit/McDonald's All American who is close to Roberts in size and plays a similar role for the Mountaineers. Should be a fun matchup of two athletic, tough forwards and a chance to see how Josh does against a high major guy with serious talent.

Agree & also WVU game will be a pivotal early opportunity to beat a quality opponent prior to BE season. Without Steere, it will be tough facing well coached team with lot of size. Would love to grab a win and give players some confidence heading into conference play.

Even with Steers it would be a tough matchup.
We'll need everyone to play with him a clear head and on top of their game.

To become a next level player he needs to get a better jump shot, a back to basket move and foul shooting must improve. Given his ability to offensive rebound close to the basket he will be taking more and more foul shots as the year and his career moves forward. he does not won't to be a 40 -50% shooter. If he gets this to 70% he will not be leaving significant points off the board. BTW THE WHOLE TEAM NEEDS TO IMPROVE FT SHOOTING!!!! JC IS SOLID.

Nice post and I would put improving his FT shooting #1 on the list. Get that and the jump shot can wait in my opinion.

We need Mustapha Heron to rejoin the team and become productive. If that happens we will surprise a few teams.

I didn't want to mention him, yesterday was enough
Hope the board doesn't go after you now

I think it's the way you say it that annoys people.

Mustapha is just going through a very rough patch, but staying very supportive of his teammates. All of you who have been so lucky to never have a rough patch in what you do best, feel free to criticize. I'll choose patience and remember my own rough patches, which still happen all too frequently...

What i said is that he's soft, and that's what annoyed people, but he doesn't shoot. People the only way to get out of it is to keep shooting, so if he doesn't shoot will he snap out of it?
To me if you don't shoot because you're afraid of it not going in, then you're soft.
Unless he lets it rip and shoots say 15 times, and shows he's not afraid to shoot it (doesn't matter if he misses 12 of the 15), just shoot.
Eventually he'll start hitting.

My opinion, i just won't put it out in the open anymore.

Don't hold back. Just think about other possibilities. Our improved rebounding seems to come with misses from the high post area, not on missed corner 3's. Roberts and Champagnie are getting follow ups but not on weakside rebounds from the wing. Are the shots not taken "soft" or signs of court awareness or coaching instructions?
