Since the start of conference play, Dunn is 1st on the team in rebounds and assists, 2nd in scoring, 3rd in steals and he's shooting nearly 80% from the FT line. Of the starting 5, only Roberts has a better FG%. He and LJ are the only two players who can create for themselves, and IMO he's the better of the 2 by far. His defense has been spectacular all year and he gives 110% every minute on the floor. He is also seems like a great kid, and very coachable. Yes he sometimes forces things or tries to do too much, and yes we'd all like for him to improve his 3 Pt shooting(his form looked good yesterday), cut down on his TOs and see the court a little better when he has the ball in his hand. I think we'll see improvements in those areas as the season progresses. Just as we've seen improvements in his game since he first arrived. In case you guys(do we have any women on this board?) haven't noticed, he's become my favorite player. I love his intensity and his "take no prisoners" style of play. Attempting to put favoritism aside, I'll make a case that he's our MVP so far this season.

Dunn has impressed me too. He's steadily making the transition to a very good D1 player.

I think he'll be even better next season. I'm hoping that Dunn won't be asked to fill in at PG. CMA can use Dunn more effectively in another role. He should focus this summer on developing a 3 point option.

Dunn seems like a natural leader? He can share his court experience with the Freshman. Help them adjust to CMA's program. Dunn will also be one of the leaders on the court.

Players like Dunn and Champagnie gives me hope for next season. This seasons experience playing in the BE will really pay off.

Does Dunn have 1 or 2 years eligiblity left to play?

Agree love Dunn's effort and activity. Just don't want him playing PG and would like better shooting from him if he's to be the starting 2G next year.

He’s been excellent. He has D’Lo’s killer instinct even if he’s not the scorer that D’lo was. Dunn is the leader and the heart of this team. He will be a starter next year again and will have a lot of grit alongside in him in guys like Posh etc. the tides will start to turn.

I really like Dunn as well. That he is leading the team in rebounds in conference play is impressive as was Shamorie’s rebounding at times but further evidence that we need a consistent inside presence.

Dunn is coming off his best game of the season. He is an animal on defense.

He does not have the vision or passing skills to be a point guard. He also doesnt have the shooting skills to be a 2 guard.

He is a baller but due to his deficencies, hes a man w/o a position.

What I really like Dunn is that he plays with extreme confidence. If you don't, the Big East will eat you alive. Whether he misses his first few shots or gets his first drive rejected, he is right back at you on the next possession. He can finish with either hand and has a nice release despite his 3 point percentage. Defenders know he prefers to take it to the hoop on his strong side, and he still gets where he wants to on the court.

He's the quintessential "scorer". More of a natural 2G being asked to handle the ball due to circumstances. He'll do fine as a 2G next season and I expect his shooting to improve. FWIW in conference Dunn is shooting .456 on 2 Pt FGs and Howard is shooting .457 on 2 Pt FGs. Overall in conference Dunn is at .407 and Howard at .393. So his shooting % isn't all that bad. Having said that, he needs to work on his 3 point shooting. If he does that, and makes better decisions with the ball, he'll be all Big East next year IMO.
