I'm looking forward to finishing the ones yet to be published. SMDH Get it done GRRM! If he can't at least finish Winds of Winter in quarantine he's never finishing A Dream of Spring.

Our Netflix TV is down (need a new box and waiting until shelter in place opens up to have Spectrum in) so we are resorting to watching a lot of classic movies on TCM channel. Watched the original Shaft Tuesday and Network last night. Movies are shown w/o commercials which is great. My wife had never seen Network and I last saw it in the movies - great flick.

Coincidentally I was watching an old episode of The Mentalist (the wife likes it...) last night and Richard Roundtree (Shaft 1971) was in it. He looked really good for around 70 at the time.

Also can you connect your TV to the Internet without your cable box? If you can, you can get some good movies and a lot of other good content via your local public library. I connected my library card after several years of non-use. Since the library was closed they accepted text messaging for support and were able to fix my account within about 24 hours of me first contacting them.
Then via my library account, I connected: hoopla, RBdigital, Kanopy and IndieFlix. Hoopla and Kanopy have some movies that you'd recognize and there are also a bunch of good content like "Great Courses."
On my Roku TV hoopla, kanopy and IndieFlix have apps and everything works like regular TV.

Also I think Sling is offering free TV.

I think they just hired Miroslav Klose as an assistant coach. I believe we have some UFC this weekend.

Finally getting the chance to watch the 1969 World Series. Went to dozens of games at Shea that year, but on opening day of the Series, I found myself being sworn in as an Army draftee at Ft. Hamilton. (The notorious Whitehall Street center had been bombed.) As a result, all I ever saw was about an inning of Game 1 on a small black & white TV that was in a distant corner. Never knew that Game 4 was won in extra innings until last night. Oh well, better late than ever.

Crossword puzzles with my wife which is a great adventure since she pronounces letters in Romanian and tells me the numbers of words and clues in Romanian. Guess who is in trouble for not understanding?

After my bladder cancer surgery on April 22 I'm back playing golf in my community. Luckily my cancer was discovered via an ultra sound which was searching for something a lot less serious. Had no warning. signs. Also catching up with my favorite shows - No Life, FBI, FBI Most Wanted, Seal Team, Swat, Chicago PD, and Billions.

Thank you to all that recommended Ozark on Netflix.

The wife and I have just finished watching 3 seasons of Ozark. Awesome.

Thank you.
